Webby Awards are handed out for categories in Websites, Interactive Advertising & Media, Online Film & Video and Mobile & Apps. The 15th Annual Webby Awards received a record nearly 10,000 entries from all 50 US states and over 60 countries worldwide, the most in its history. In recognition of the exceptional quality of submissions received this year, the Academy has acknowledged outstanding entries as Official Honorees, alongside our Nominees. The Official Honoree distinction is awarded to fewer than 15% of all work entered that exhibits remarkable achievement.
Sites and apps are selected for recognition based on excellence in the following criteria (but not limited to): content, structure and navigation, visual design, functionality, interactivity and overall experience.
